Here are the most often asked questions we've received...

How many days does the course take to complete?

The course is designed to take one school year, about 165-175 days. Each day is planned out with detailed instructions. Sometimes it is possible to occasionally do two shorter assignments in one day to shorten the number of days needed to around 120 or 130.

Are there labs?

Yes! Since this is a homeschool course, all labs can be done with household materials. A few labs might require a trip to the grocery or hardware store, or a small purchase from Amazon. Any lab can be skipped at the parents’ discretion.

How is work graded?
I recommend allowing trustworthy students to complete their daily assignments and then use the answer keys to check their own work. They can also watch videos which explain answers to every question in detail.  At the end of each unit is a test. I recommend that parents grade the tests with the provided answer keys. In such a scenario, a large percentage of the course grade (even 100%) would be based on the test scores. As homeschooling parents, you are the teachers so you can follow my recommendations or use whatever grading format you and your son/daughter prefer. You will be provided with all answer keys.

What are the prerequisites?

This is definitely a high school-level course. No knowledge of physics is required before taking this course. Mathematically, if a student can solve for x algebraically then he or she should be able to do the needed calculations. Familiarity with trig functions such as sine and cosine is helpful. We will review these concepts during the physics course, but some previous exposure is a good idea.

What is your return policy?

Complete 1-year, 100% money-back guarantee. If for any reason you aren’t satisfied, you will get your money back. Please note, however, that if you cannot return the workbook in new, unused condition there will be a $20 restocking fee. I want you and your student to be happy with your purchase.

How can you offer a whole year return policy?

With a few thousand customers in the past 20 years, I have received only a few requests for a refund. So, I’m quite confident that almost everyone will benefit from the curriculum.
